Carpisa Foods, S.L. is a 100% Spanish family business focused on the meat sector.

It was founded in 1986 by the parents of the current CEOs, Carlos Quintas and Jorge Castelló, and is located in Griñón (Madrid). Since then, Carpisa Foods has grown significantly, earning the trust of our suppliers and customers by offering quality meats, nutritional innovation and great-tasting products.

Carpisa has evolved to be one of the leading national and international companies in Europe, Africa and Asia.

We produce over a million burgers a day in all shapes, sizes and mixes. In addition to targeting the professional sector, we also have three retail brands, which are sold through the most important chains of national and regional hypermarkets, supermarkets and service stations.

  • 1986

    Carpisa Foods was created as a hamburger supplier.

  • 1988

    We built the current plant located in Griñón (Madrid).

  • 2004

    We expanded the plant with a new freezing tunnel and a new frozen warehouse.

  • 2007

    Loutien Service was created, specialising in the distribution of meat products in the hospitality industry.

  • 2010

    We launched a new hamburger production line, with a production capacity of 12,000 tons per year.

  • 2012

    Carpisa Foods inaugurated a sales module for meat products in Mercamadrid.

  • 2014

    We expanded production capacity, reaching 17,000 tons per year.

  • 2016

    We launched the Brooklyn Town brand, Carpisa’s first consumer-oriented brand.

  • 2018

    The Beef Kitchen Lab was created, a pioneering R&D centre in the world of meat.

  • 2020

    The Brooklyn Town brand launched its successful Ready-to-Eat burgers.

  • 2021

    Carpisa Foods celebrated 35 years with a production capacity of 23,000 tons per year and launched the new Carpisa Professional Solutions brand for the professional sector.

  • 2022

    The new “alpunto” retail brand, the butcher line, was launched.
